Our extensive knowledge of where the rust issues are on an MX5 puts us in a unique position to provide your car with excellent rust prevention treatments, we also use our knowledge of the MX5s internal structure to ensure we get the right treatments to the areas that need it the most, during our rust repair works we can often see that an MX5 has received waxoil or cavity wax treatments in the past that hasn’t got to the important areas, this is because the person that applied it didn’t know the internal structure and wasn’t able to get the treatment to the correct area.
We also use quality products from dinitrol and bilt hamber, our process involves lifting the car up on one of our ramps, removing the road wheels and arch liners, removing any failing existing underseal, wire brushing off all areas that will be receiving new underseal, masking anything that might need masking (such as new coil overs or exhausts) applying Bilt hamber rust treatments, applying dinitrol underseal, then applying bilt hamber cavity wax, allowing to dry before refitting arch liners and removing masking.
